You’re unavailable because you’re so fabulous
Maybe it’s the other way around
I’m growing fond of you now and I miss you every day
Even on the days we’re not apart
Driving me insane
Drinking all the time
Draining my heart from my mind
Dreaming about you now
Dragging you around
Drowning you with all my heart
If he were nonexistent would I have a shot with you?
You know you’ll always have a shot with me
But I don’t deserve because you’re too good for me
You’ll find someone who’s too good for you
My heart drowns in you

In your little white Subaru you drive away from me
Fifty-four miles from here
This time I know it’s true, you won’t come back for me
You might be five hundred miles away
I watch you drive away
It feels like I just got punched in the gut
I know where you are now
There’s a perfect K-10 in between us
In your little white Subaru you used to drive to me
But I don’t see you anymore
And now you’re on your own, and now I’m all alone
It’s a concept you choose to ignore

Lightnin' Boy

I can feel my muscles tightening. I can a bolt of lightning.
Running up and down my spine, but that’s alright ‘cause I feel fine.
I’m a superhero waiting to happen; a crime fighter from another world.
Do you know who I am? I’m Lightnin’ Boy.
I move at the speed of light. I shoot electricity out my finger.
I always get the bad guy and I always get the dame.
And one day everyone will know my name. It’s Lightnin’ Boy.
Playing Frisbee can be frightening; hearing thunder and feeling lightning.
Playing in the rain and being a clown, when Mother Nature shot me down.
I’m a superhero waiting to happen I always figure out the villain’s ploy.
Do you know who I am? I’m Lightnin’ Boy.
I move at the speed of light. You won’t like me when I’m angry.
I always get the bad guy and I always get the dame.
And one day everyone will know my name. It’s Lightnin’ Boy.

You can play your silly schoolgirl games
But I won’t have anything to do with it
I see the way you look at me as if I’m special
Until you look at someone in the same way
I don’t play games; don’t waste my time
I thought you could be mine but you blew your chance
I lost my way looking for a girl
Still I search in vein and I’m sure it will happen again
You coyly flash that subtle smile
Was it misused or misread?
So I’ll sit and think awhile
Will I love before I’m dead?
I should have played your silly schoolgirl games
It might have kept me out of trouble for a while
But instead I always play the fool
You’ve got your rules, what’s the score who’s winning now?

Sorry 'bout Sid

I find I’m spending all my time
Looking ‘round for something I don’t even want
It’s no wonder that I can’t find it
My future’s looking fairly dim
Shitty job and a boss that I can’t stand
Can’t wait until he tells me that I’m fired
I guess I’d just assume to be alone
I guess I’m lucky that I am
There’s nobody feeling sorry for me
I’m feeling sorry for myself
I remember when there was a time
I thought I’d found out all there was to find
So when did I start looking for a girlfriend?
Everyone I know is pairing up
There’s still no one that I care about
Geared up for another lonely cold winter
